Department overview

1 catering department is saddled with the preparation and service of meals and beverages to patients on admission in the hospital ward

We also prepare and serve committee meetings,so also outside catering functions within the hospital

The department comprises of 72 staff recently 2 staff have retired making the number to 70

 The department prepares assorted no of meals and beverages for patients and hospital staff

We have have four categories of meals

1 general patient

2 Amenity meals

3 children meals

4 intra mural meals

Services,we have provided many catering functions over the years

Recently we organized and serve buffet party for MDCAN,

Ministerial committee on appointment and promotion

Catering department goal is the provision of top notch meals and beverages for the patients and hospital staff in general

Department has four units namely 

1 procurement of food items

2 service of meals

3 dieatatic unit for patients counseling

4 pantry unit
