STATUTORY FUNCTION OF TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT
The department is charged with the responsibility to maintain and allocate vehicles for the smooth operation(s) of the hospital activities. Providing vehicles for all official assignments within and outside Kano and an ambulance service to the hospital. Most of the routine service and minor repairs of our vehicles are carried out in our mechanical workshop. The department also provides ambulance hiring services and septic tank emptier hiring services, at affordable and subsidized rates. These are some of the social responsibility of the hospital to the community, and also a source of revenue generation for the hospital. The department has staff strength of 23 headed by a Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
